Woolwich geography bee results
On Thursday, Jan. 25, Woolwich Central School sixth grader Rainier Eich won the school competition of the National Geographic Bee and a chance at a $50,000 college scholarship.
The school bee had 10 students in grades four through eight. It was the first round in the 30th annual National Geographic Bee. Also participating were the classroom bee winners: Fourth grade, Landon Rogers and Nolan Becker; fifth grade, Paiden Creamer and Abby Sionni; sixth grade, Caleb Rice; seventh grade, Gavin Baillargeon and Natalie Emmerson; and eighth grade, Nina Ryan and Ethan Rice.
