Scouts’ ‘Camp In’ at the Legion
Boothbay Pack 271 and Waldoboro Pack 142 held a Camp In on May 18 at the American Legion Hall in Boothbay, The kids worked on many badges - Outdoorsman, Call of the Wild, Paws on the Path, Running with the Pack, Into the Wild and Into the Woods. The kids also did a little Orienteering and Star Gazing.
As part of their required community service, the boys helped spruce up the driveway, moved some brush, and picked up shells at the Boothbay Fish & Game. If there are any community service projects that would like the help of the scouts please contact Adam Macy at 841-7778 or Robin Ford at 607-2965
Any child interested in joining Cub Scouts from kindergarten through fifth grade are more than welcome to join us on Thursday nights to see what fun these kids are having.
Pack #271 thanks American Legion Post #36 for sponsoring our Pack, for the use of the Legion hall to hold our weekly meetings, and its support throughout the year for all the extra gatherings that take place.
