At 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Wiscasset, voters will have a chance to meet District Attorney Jon Liberman, who serves Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Knox and Waldo counties. Also attending will be Jeff Hanley, Representative for District 87.

Katharine Martin-Savage will host the meet-and-greet at her home, Seafield Farm, at 191 Indian Road.

Liberman has served as an Assistant District Attorney in Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc Counties, before becoming Deputy District Attorney and then District Attorney in 2017. He brings a wealth of trial experience to the job, and successfully tried a criminal case before the Maine Supreme Court while he was a student prosecutor with the Cumberland Cunty District Attorney’s Office.

Hanley is running for his third term in the Maine House, having served on the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee, the Joint Select Committee on Marijuana Legalization implementation, and the Environment and Natural Resources Committee in his previous two terms.

Linda and Fred Winterberg will co-host the event at Seafield Farm, and hope many will take this opportunity to come out and discuss issues with these candidates.
