The Miles Memorial Hospital League Art Committee would like to invite any and all artists interested in having an exhibit during the 2019 season to please bring samples of their work to the new Herb and Roberta Watson Health Center (located on the LincolnHealth/Miles Campus in Damariscotta) for jurying.  Artists who have shown at the hospital during the past three years are not eligible.

The jury will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. Please bring three framed pieces representative of your work, a short bio and/or statement, and approximate prices.  You’ll be asked to leave your works off for about an hour and a half, then return to pick them up.  At that point you will be notified of the jury’s decision. 

The Art Committee schedules nine shows per year – regrettably, we cannot accept textile arts or sculpture; however, photography, paintings, drawings, or other media will be considered.

Artists who are awarded a show will be asked to sign a statement of conditions promising to pay a small commission  from sales made to the MMHL League – all sales are handled through the artist directly and not through the hospital or the League.
