Midcoast Senior College announces spring terms
Located at Brunswick Landing, Midcoast Senior College will present a spring term with 23 courses representing a wide range of subjects including literature, music, art, humanities, anthropology, political science and more. Registration will open on Friday, Jan. 28 and continue until the term begins on March 11.
Most of the spring classes will meet at the college’s location at 29 Burbank Ave., in Cook’s Corner on Brunswick Landing. MSC will also offer classes at Thornton Oaks, The Highlands, and UMA Center (also at Brunswick Landing). The popular MSC Singers class will meet at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick. MSC is also presenting a free lecture series called Winter Wisdom, sponsored by The Highlands in Topsham. Winter Wisdom is held at Curtis Memorial Library on Wednesdays in January and February at 12:15 p.m. All are invited to attend. In addition, MSC hosts a free, weekly Current Events Forum at Curtis Memorial Library on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m., which is open to all. No registration is required for the Winter Wisdom or Current Events Forum; simply show up!
