“Limbo” - (R; 1 hour, 43 minutes) - A wry and poignant observation of the refugee experience, set on a fictional remote Scottish island where a group of new arrivals await the results of their asylum claims. It centers on Omar, a young Syrian musician who is burdened by his grandfather’s oud, which he has carried all the way from his homeland. “The Dry” - (R; 1 hour, 57 minutes) - Federal Agent Aaron Falk (Eric Bana, Munich) returns to his hometown after an absence of over 20 years to attend the funeral of his childhood friend, Luke, who allegedly killed his wife and child before taking his own life – a victim of the madness that has ravaged this community after more than a decade of drought. When Falk reluctantly agrees to stay and investigate the crime, he opens an old wound – the death of 17-year-old Ellie Deacon. Based on the international bestseller by Jane Harper.
