Lincoln County Republicans meeting
Lincoln County Republicans will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 28 at the Boothbay American Legion Hall, 25 Industrial Road. The doors open at 6 p.m. The social and refreshment time will begin at 6:30 the meeting will begin at 7.
A very special mystery guest will be speaking in detail about the upcoming gubernatorial election. Another guest will be announcing their candidacy for House District 89. Other featured speakers will include former District 2 U.S. Congressman, the Honorable Bruce Poliquin, Maine GOP Chairwoman and North-East Regional Republican National Committee Co-Chair Demi Kouzounis, and anti-shutdown activist and former owner of Sunday River Brewing Company Rick Savage.
Topics of interest will be on our agenda including the expanding state spending, deteriorating business climate, the permanent closure of many businesses, the inability to hire workers in a time when many are not working, the state’s increasing regulations and the expected tax increases. Political topics will include election integrity and the balance between honest elections to protect confidence in our election results and voter access to the ballot box, the consolidation of power in Washington and Augusta, and issues identified in the ongoing Georgia and Arizona state election audits. Liliana Thelander will be collecting affidavit signatures asserting our constitutional right to demand a full forensic audit of the 2020 general election.
On the fun side we will be selling raffle tickets for a September World-Class Fishing Trip for four from Brown’s Warf in Boothbay Harbor. The trip will be on the Shark Six with Captain Barry Gibson, a former world fishing record holder, an award-winning author, and recognized as one of the top 50 fishing guides by Saltwater Sportsman Magazine. Our own Carolyn Harris has also baked several of her locally famous pies for a fun raffle for those with a sweet tooth. Please Join us for a fun and informative evening.
