The 2022 Williams-Fossett Vintage Car Show attracted some 55 mega-cool vehicles, shattering last year’s total of 34 registrants.
Vintage Show organizers received positive feedback from both participants and visitors. “Now this is a car show,” commented New Harbor resident Mark Green. Wendy Orms of Brunswick, showing a ’51 Woody for owner Paul Anderson said, “What a fun parade and car show…great turnout!” John Deraklis, hailing from Damariscotta agreed with Ms. Orms, “That was great fun and what a terrific collection of cars. Well done!”
And the trophy winners are…
- Tom Yale of Boothbay earned the first-place trophy for a 1957 Jaguar convertible.
- Paul Anderson took second-place with his ’51 Woody.
- The third-place trophy went to John C. Harris of South Bristol for his ‘47 Woody.
- Doug Harley of Boothbay garnered the vintage show staff-pick, awarded for a 1955 VW Beetle.
- The coveted kids-pick trophy was presented to Betsy Royal of South Bristol for her 2001 Jaguar convertible.
- Outstanding Motorcycle went to Trey Walker of Pemaquid for a 1970 Triumph Bonneville.
The entire OBD Williams-Fossett Vintage Car Show volunteer staff thanks folks for joining the fun and hope to see all next year’s vintage show.
