Dear Editor:

We are writing to you in support of the re-election of Janet Mills as Governor of Maine.

As longtime residents of Maine with kids in four Maine public schools, we very much appreciate what Governor Mills has done to improve our schools.

1. Fully funded the state’s share of K-12 education and raised teachers’ salaries

2. Provided two free years of community college for 8000 Mainers.

3. Provided free meals for all kids in K-12 public schools taking the stigma out of free meals for only low-income kids.

These changes have not only affected our kids and grandkids but we believe have affected the lives of most public school kids in our state.

Thank you Governor Mills!
