Fundraising advice in Wiscasset March 1

On Friday, March 1, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Sarah Whitfield will be leading a learning/training session on fundraising and annual appeals. Hosted by Wiscasset Creative Alliance as an opportunity for anyone interested in improving fundraising efforts for their local organizations, the workshop will be in-person at the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission offices, 297 Bath Road, Wiscasset, and on Zoom (Zoom link will be sent when you register).
We will discuss fundraising basics as well as overall trends, how to use data and segmentation effectively, how to approach messaging and strategy, and how to develop a fundraising plan.

Also, questions can be sent before the workshop to sarahmariewhitfield@gmail.com and will either be addressed during the presentation or after. There will also be a Q&A section during the workshop.
Whitfield is the director of annual giving at the University of Southern Maine Foundation, where she leads its annual appeals and crowdfunding efforts and serves as a gift officer to a portfolio of over 100 donors.
