First National Bank is hosting a collection drive during March to benefit Midcoast Humane. Patrons are welcome to donate items to FNB at 39 Gardiner Road in Wiscasset. Most valuable items include: Purina, Iams, Eukanuba, Hills and Royal Canin wet dog food and wet kitten food, blankets, towels, harnesses and leashes.

Midcoast Humane is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned pets and helping Mainers find loving companions. They strive to enhance the human/animal bond in everything they do and be a resource for pet owners and animal lovers in our communities, helping people become better caretakers and advocates for all of our animal friends through classes, camps, workshops, and collaboration with their knowledgeable staff.
