Walk the Wiscasset waterfront and by chance see lobster fishermen, waterfowl and pleasure craft and, for certain except in fog, the wide Sheepscot River with Edgecomb on the other shore.

Walk into history at Historic New England’s Castle Tucker and Nickels-Sortwell House and Lincoln County Historical Association’s Old Jail and Museum. And read about and take selfies with all the other historic Wiscasset spots you have time for, with Museum in the Streets. 

Lincoln County’s seat has summer fun for all senses, from concerts and festivals on the common to art walks, shops and eateries that are experiences, and even a speedway. Or get out to the town’s trails and a community center with youth and adult sports, a pool, and a Senior Center with public suppers. Cribbage, anyone?
