On December 28, Lacy J. Newell, 28, was issued a summons for Operating While License is Suspended or Revoked, on Gardiner Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Kenneth Hatch.

On December 21, Brandyn Lawton-Prindall, 21, of Edgecomb was arrested for Furnishing a Place for Minors to Consume/Possess Alcohol, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.

On December 25, Kyle M. Gornto, 21, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault and Terrorizing, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus who was assisted by Deputy Justin Drake.

On December 26, Alan Green, 43, of Wiscasset was arrested on an Augusta District Court warrant for Failure to Appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy James Read.

On December 27, Brandyn A. Lawton-Prindall, 21, of Edgecomb was arrested for Violating Condition of Release and Possession of Marijuana, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jared Mitkus.

Recent Accidents

On December 23, an accident occurred on River Road in Dresden involving Mark McKelvey, 46, of Dresden. McKelvey was operating his 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound and was operating too fast for the road conditions when he lost control of his vehicle. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway and traveled down over an embankment and struck a small tree. Major Ken Mason was the investigating officer.

On December 26, an accident occurred on Head Tide Road in Alna involving Mark E. Crummett, 43, of Newcastle. Crummett was operating his 2005 Chevrolet 2500 southbound when a deer ran out of a wooded area and was struck. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.

On December 26, an accident occurred on Sheepscot Road in Newcastle involving Derek F. Juchnik, 21, of Newcastle. Juchnik was operating his 2004 Jeep Wrangler westbound when he stated as he approached the intersection of Lewis Hill Road, he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered shoulder. As a result, his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Deputy Aaron Beck was the investigating officer.

On December 28, an accident occurred on West Alna Road in Alna involving Alisa M. Wallace, 47, of Alna. Wallace was operating her 1998 Jeep Cherokee northbound when she lost control of her vehicle while proceeding downgrade in the snowy, but sanded roadway. As a result, her vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and rolled over onto its passenger side before coming to rest facing southbound. Reserve Deputy Mark Walsh was the investigating officer.

On December 29, an accident occurred on Stonebridge Circle in Newcastle involving Joshua H. Cross, 19, of Bremen. Cross was operating his 1995 Honda Accord when he lost control of his vehicle on snow on the edge of the road which caused him to lose control and go into a skid and strike a utility pole. Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward was the investigating officer.

On December 29, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Hattie A. Richards, 51, of Edgecomb. Richards was operating her 2004 Subaru Forester southbound when she attempted to turn right onto the River Road, however, slid on the snow covered roadway. As a result, her vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest in a ditch. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.
