Woolwich man faces child pornography charges
A Woolwich man faces 15 counts of possessing child pornography following his arrest Monday by the State Police Computer Crimes Unit.
William Diemer, 31, of Meadow Road was arrested Monday and taken to the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset.
Diemer faces 15 counts of possessing sexually explicit materials.
The investigation began last fall when his computer was seized from his home after State Police received a tip.
After analyzing the computer, detectives consulted with the district attorney's office which authorized Diemer's arrest.
Diemer was arrested Monday at his place of work, Pemaquid Harbor Yachts in New Harbor.
None of the children depicted in the pornography are believed to be from Maine.
