Wiscasset man arrested for alleged ‘joint’ sale to teen
A Wiscasset man is out on bail after his arrest for allegedly selling a teen a marijuana cigarette for $5, Wiscasset police said.
Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline arrested Kris Sliker, 57, on March 12, on one count of aggravated unlawful trafficking in scheduled drug, Cline states in a March 17 press release.
Before Sliker was arrested, he admitted selling a 16-year-old boy a marijuana cigarette, the release states.
“He also admitted that he sold the ‘joint’ for $5 as the juvenile was upset over an argument with his father,” the release states.
Cline said the arrest followed an investigation into information he received on March 10, that a 57-year-old man was selling marijuana to juveniles.
“As a result of that investigation Chief Cline identified the male as ... Sliker,” the release states.
Sliker was released from Two Bridges Regional Jail later March 12 on $500 bail with numerous conditions, including that he have no contact with the boy he is accused of selling the marijuana to, the release continues.
