Car hits tree in Wiscasset
A Wiscasset man said he was not hurt on May 24 when the car he was turning into a driveway on Fowles Hill Road in Wiscasset struck a tree.
“I lost the brakes,” Michael Dunning, 23, said at the scene, after Blagden’s Wrecker Service loaded the car onto a truck for removal.
Dunning said he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. He identified the car as a relative’s 1992 Honda.
No information was immediately available from the Wiscasset Police Department. A Wiscasset officer was on the scene.
The accident was reported at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, a Lincoln County Communications dispatcher said.
