Slashed tire leads to fight, gun charges
An altercation over a slashed tire has lead to assault, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and terrorizing charges for a Bristol man.
Mark Zaccadelli Sr., 50, of Bristol was charged July 17 with four charges after he allegedly got involved with a fight, brandished a revolver and threatened to kill another man.
According to the arrest report, a dispute over slashed tires led a Bristol man to confront Zaccadelli Sr.'s son at his home.
The pair began fighting, at which point Zaccadelli Sr. allegedly got out of his truck and began to help his son fight the other man.
Zaccadelli Sr. reportedly bit the other man on the left side of the face and broke skin; the bite would reportedly require medical attention.
The man was able to get away from the fighting briefly before it was alleged that Zaccadelli Sr. pulled a semi-automatic handgun out of his waist band and pointed it at the victim's left temple.
According to records, Zaccadelli Sr. allegedly held onto the victim's shirt with the gun pointed at his head and told the victim that if he reported the incident to the police he would kill him “within three days.” Zaccadelli Sr. is also reported to have said that his motorcycle gang would “take care” of the victim.
Zaccadelli is being held on a $25,000 secured bond at Two Bridges Regional Jail. Three of the charges (criminal threatening, reckless conduct and terrorizing) are Class C crimes, which carry up to five years in prison and or a $5,000 fine. The assault charge is a Class D crime, which carries a penalty of up to a year in jail.
