The Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta will host the 2015 Home and Healthy Living Expo sponsored by Dow Furniture and Hammond Lumber on Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additional sponsors include Home Snuggers, Radio Shack, Home Depot, Ames True Value and Sustainability Sponsor ReVision Energy.

This year’s show will host the new addition of “Healthy Living,” which will include many new exhibitors in our area who want to help visitors live a healthy lifestyle. Visitors will find an opportunity to meet experts in all forms of healthcare, from natural to conventional, as well as observe live demonstrations of fitness classes and various forms of physical activity, cooking seminars, healthy eating, meet the PT and more.

The show will also provide one stop shopping for the homeowner and all of their spring projects from landscaping, remodeling, heating and cooling, interior design and more. The kids will also have a fun at the “Kid Zone,” which will host many fun activities for grades K-6 on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 65-plus will enjoy half price on Sunday.

There will be delicious food, giveaways, inspiring seminars and tips from the pros. Admission for adults is $5 and children under 12 are free.

The Y would like to encourage all homeowner related and health and wellness businesses in Lincoln County to be part of this year’s show. All proceeds from this event will fund scholarships for children and families to attend programs at the Y so no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
