Romantic, sexy entertainment for Valentine's Day
The Chocolate Church Arts Center announces unique entertainment scheduled for Valentine’s Day weekend that includes vintage shows with a special twist.
On Saturday, Feb. 13, Red Hot & Ladylike, and Bath's own Wicked Burlesque, dance troupes will perform in the Vixens & Valentines’ Burlesque Show on the main stage. This show highlights the performance style first introduced to American stages during the 1800s. This modern, risqué version will take the audience on a provocative journey with a sexy show for adults, yet leaving some things to the imagination!
Comedian Jay Grove hosts the evening while burlesque performers tempt and tease the audience.
There will also be a photo booth and a silent auction to benefit the Chocolate Church. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for 8:30 show. Adult beverages will be available.
VIP Seating (including special gift bag) is available for $20; advance tickets are $12 and $15 at the door.
At the Hot Chocolate Valentine Cabaret at 2 p.m. on Valentine's Day, Sunday, Feb. 14, the subject is love. Songs celebrating love and friendship, torch songs, and the timeless romantic tunes that still make us swoon will be performed in the Curtis Room by local favorites Andy Barber, Alison Lee Freeman, Liz and Chris Lannon, Martin Swinger, and special guests. Sean Fleming will be featured on the piano.
Desserts and beverages will be available. Tickets are $15 individual; $25 couple.
The Hot Chocolate Valentine Cabaret raises funds for the Hot Chocolate Jubilee VIX in 2017, a community variety show benefiting the CCAC.
Tickets for both shows are available at www.chocolatechurcharts.org or by calling the CCAC box office 207-442-8455.
The Chocolate Church Arts Center is located at 804 Washington Street in Bath.
