The Kefauver Studio & Gallery, Damariscotta, presents “The Little Holiday Show,” an art show that runs from Nov. 11 through Dec. 23. The show includes work by oil painter and gallery owner Will Kefauver, and the work of Kefauver’s 19 guest artists.  Each of the guest artists participated in one of Kefauver’s earlier shows in the 2016 season, and they have all contributed works of art that are small in size and price. Visitors to the show will see work in a variety of mediums, styles, and techniques, including paintings in oil by Elaine Abel, Sally Loughridge, Brooke Pacy, and Liliana Thelander; photographs by Judy Bernier, Claudia Noyes Griffiths, Ronn Orenstein, and Laurie Hanley Raba; note cards by Helen Warner; acrylics by Judy Nixon and DiTa Ondek; watercolor by Deena Ball, Kathleen Horst, and Jan Kilburn; watercolors and gouache by Jane Bowman; watercolors with ink by Virginia Forrest; woodblock and drypoint prints by Deborah Kozak; pigment inkjets by Petrea Noyes; and sculpture by Marnie Sinclair.
 
Many of the pieces are small enough to hang on a holiday tree, and are wired or ribboned for hanging.  The artwork represents the best of Maine in the “off” season, with scenes of fall harvests, windswept beaches, birds and berries, and snow-covered fields.  And, of course, the Pemaquid Lighthouse, with and without holiday bows, will have a featured role!
 
A reception for “The Little Holiday Show” will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 4-6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and there is free parking. Please come and meet Will Kefauver and the guest artists.
