Looking for gifts by local artisans?  Hoping to support your community while enjoying holiday merriment?  Rising Tide Community Market's annual Holiday Gift Show, featuring work by nine local artisans is underway.  

You'll find a festive holiday fair atmosphere at the artists' reception and free wine tasting on Friday, Dec. 2 from 4-6 p.m.  Refreshments will be served and several of the artists will be on hand to talk art.  The event is free and open to the public. 

A wide variety of gift items will be on display in the Rising Tide café until Jan. 2, 2017 from ornaments to earrings, holiday decorations to original artwork.  This year the works of Tom Boothby (wooden goods), Kate Chandler (felted ornaments), Roz Davis (wreaths, aprons, totes), Sarah Davis (prints), Laura Devin (ceramic ornaments), Heather Greene (jewelry), Danika Howard (crocheted winter wear), Stephanie Lane (steampunk jewelry), and Tressa Versteeg (cards) are featured.

Rising Tide holds monthly art exhibits featuring work by talented local artists who are also co-op member-owners. Artist applications for 2017 are being accepted; more information can be found at www.risingtide.coop/art-at-the-co-op.
