Doris White Cunningham, 71, of Elloree, South Carolina, wife of Neil O. Cunningham, died March 22, 2017 at her home with her husband by her side.

A memorial service was held Saturday at the residence in Elloree.

Doris was born in Danbury, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Charles White and Gertrude Schutte White. She owned and operated Cunningham Farms vegetable stand in Boothbay, Maine for over 30 years and worked at Robinson's Wharf in Southport prior to moving to Elloree.

Surviving are a daughter, Victoria (Hal) Runyon of Lisbon, Maine; a son, Charles Randall (Nancy) Cunningham of Boothbay, Maine; stepchildren, Guy Cunningham of Northfield, Connecticut, Neil Cunningham of Kentucky, Melissa Jackson of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and Brandi Koss-Weingert of Syracuse, New York; grandchildren, Nicholas Runyon of Lewiston, Maine and Jennifer (James) Hein of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; a great-grandson, Owen Hein, and many step grandchildren.

She touched the lives of the many people she came in contact with and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Avinger Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.avingerfh.com
