On May 13, the revitalized Maine Art Gallery at 15 Warren Street in Wiscasset will hold a reception for its first exhibit of the season.  In keeping with the gallery’s mission to foster creativity and cultural expression in Maine, this exhibit will feature student art from several Lincoln County schools.

Participating schools include Lincoln Academy, Medomak Valley High School, Bristol Consolidated School, The Center for Teaching and Learning, and Sheepscot Valley Children’s House. The public is invited to attend the opening reception Saturday, May 13 from 2-4 p.m. and view the Maine Art Gallery’s newly refurbished exhibit space.

The Youth Art Exhibit will be open from noon - 4 p.m. on the weekend dates of May 13-14, May 20-21, and May 27.

The Maine Art Gallery, at 15 Warren Street in Wiscasset, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and preservation of the fine arts of painting, sculpture and graphic arts through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, educational programs for children and adults.
