Muddy Ruckus next up at Darrows Barn
Oxbow Brewing Company is offering a live music series at the Darrows Barn at Round Top Farm in Damariscotta this month in support of the Damariscotta River Association (DRA).
The farmhouse brewery located in Newcastle is partnering with the bands Puddn'Head, who played July 6, and Muddy Ruckus to offer live music and fresh draft beer and food in a spectacular setting to raise funds in support of the Damariscotta River Association (DRA).
On Thursday, July 20, Muddy Ruckus, an Americana-rock duo from Portland will take the stage. The stripped down power duo features guitarist Ryan Flaherty and percussionist Erika Stahl. The band blends rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit, and is known for a full rock band sound, despite their duo status. They season their music with the salt of the old Eastern ports, back road electric grooves, and the mud of the Mississippi River where Flaherty grew up.
There is a $5 cover charge for the show which is donated to DRA. Doors open at 6 and the music starts at 6:30. The Burgers & Freys food truck will be on hand serving up delicious food sourced locally.
Darrows Barn is located at 3 Round Top Lane.
