Throughout the summer, Oxbow's Farmhouse Brewery located in Newcastle has been kicking off the weekends with Food Truck Fridays. In addition to delicious, locally sourced food from food trucks each week, there has also been live music every other Friday.
This Friday, Aug. 11 will feature the return of Eric Green along with Tommy O'Connell. The “OG's” will perform live blues music from 5-8 p.m. and the Burgers & Freys food truck will start serving at 4:30 p.m.
Momoko, Oxbow's popular tart and juicy farmhouse ale, is on draft and available in bottles to purchase to enjoy at the Tasting Room or to go. It is produced by fermenting fresh-pressed peaches with a blend of barrel-aged ales.
The Tasting Room is open seven days a week and from noon to 9 p.m. on Food Truck Fridays. Oxbow's farmhouse brewery is located on 18 acres in Newcastle at 274 Jones Woods Road. Parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged. For more information, visit http://www.oxbowbeer.com.
