‘9 to 5, the Musical’ opens next week
The curtain at the Lincoln Theater is about to go up on the Lincoln County Community Theater (LCCT) production, “9 to 5, the Musical.” The show opens Friday, April 6.
“9 to 5, the Musical” is based on the 1980 hit movie about three office workers, Doralee, Violet and Judy, who plan to get even with their egotistical, lying, hypocritical boss. This sharp witty musical adventure is perfect for anyone who ever wanted to string up their boss.
The show features the blockbuster title song plus a jubilant score by multiple Grammy Award winner Dolly Parton that mixes Broadway and pop with Dolly's irresistible style.
The show features a cast of numerous local favorites including: Victoria Hamilton (Violet Newstead), Kristen Robinson (Dorelee Rhodes), Emily Mirabile (Judy Bernley), Jesse Wakeman (Franklin Hart Jr.), Christina Belknapp (Roz Keith), Joe Lugosch (Joe/Dwayne), John Henry Eddyblouin (Josh), Eve Jamieson (Missy), Bridget Alexander (Maria), Desmond O’Brien (Dick), Natalie Norris (Kathy), Zora Alexander (Margaret), Desmond O’Brien (Bob Enright/Doctor), Andy Barber (Tinsworthy/Detective), Laurie Brown (Candy Striper), and Kyrill Schabert (Cop), all of whom are supported by the 27 member chorale, The Double-D Singers, and orchestra of 12, The Push-up Pops.
