WCC’s anniversary year rolls on with family fun, movie July 28
Wiscasset Parks and Recreation and Partners in Education (PIE) are partnering July 28 for a family fun night at the community playground opposite Wiscasset Community Center on Gardiner Road. The event is part of WCC’s 25th anniversary year.

Antique auto show brings out enthusiasts
Wet weather did not deter the Maine Obsolete Auto League from its Antique Auto Day at Boothbay Railway Village Museum July 15. Despite heavy mist and light rain, several dozen dedicated owners and enthusiasts came to show their love of vintage cars and meet old friends.

“David Estey Reimagined” is a solo exhibit by the Belfast, Maine artist of 23 paintings, two thirds of which have been reworked from earlier states. They are improvisational abstract images often with narrative references, done in a variety of sizes using acrylic paint on canvas, wood panels or synthetic paper mounted on panels. People from near and far gathered in Maine’s Prettiest Village Tuesday morning, July 4 to celebrate America’s 247th birthday with a colorful parade under a sunny sky.
