In other news, Liana and I continued our twenty-five year tradition of not going out for Valentine's Day.

Sorry local restaurants. I think going out for Valentine's Day is like going out for New Year's Eve. Why do I want to wait over two minutes for a watered-down drink and hang out with a bunch of people who have a much higher probability of vomiting on me than normal?

We spent Valentine’s Day hiding under the covers and remaining perfectly still until all the bill collectors stole our landscaping and stopped banging on the front door. That took a while, considering the dogs decided to hold Bark-Fest 2024 that afternoon.
