An afternoon of guilty pleasures with Studio Theater & Sojourn
Guilty pleasures. That's just what Studio Theatre of Bath will offer on Sunday, Oct. 5 when they present a benefit show for Sagadahoc Preservation and Grace Episcopal Church.
In this show, Studio Theatre will indulge you with some of their favorite performances, making you feel good and leaving you with no regrets.
The skillful and fun loving Vince Shatto will emcee the show featuring the company's many gifted singers and actors bringing plenty of talent and wit.
There will be musical performances by Benjamin Proctor, Tracy Kay, John Mynahan, Lizzy Snyder, Courtney O’brien and Sagadahoc Preservation's own Cathy Matero.
The dramatic and comedic talents of April Joy Purinton, Lee Leiner, Newton Dubs and Wanda McNeil, as well as a mesmerizing sword-balancing routine by the enchanting Bella Lisa Caruolo, will lead into the afternoon's finale.
Studio Theatre will present the debut performance of Sojourn, a Moody Blues cover band. With veteran musicians Chris Doehne on electric guitar, Tate Gale on drums, Parker Kenyon on bass and flute, Mark McNeil on keyboards and flute, and Jerry Perron on acoustic guitar, the band recreates the magical sound of the Moodys' vintage recordings.
Be a time traveler on a long distance voyage, and come sing along to your favorite Moody Blues songs.
