River Arts of Damariscotta is pleased to announce a call for artists for the 2023 Members’ Show. Artists may deliver one work to the gallery during regular hours from now until the 4 p.m. deadline on Saturday, May 13.

All current and new members are invited to submit one piece for this non-juried exhibition which will be on display from May 16 through June 17. This is a great time to become a member and join the River Arts’ community. The Members' Show celebrates the talent of River Arts’ member artists and showcases the wide range of art being created in Maine. All media is welcome, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, fiber, photography, ceramics, original print making, drawing, encaustic and pastel. Works may be representational or abstract. The Members’ Show offers an opportunity for artists to submit work that best represents their personal style.

This salon style show requires a size limit of 30 inches in any direction, including frame, for all wall pieces. There is no entry fee for submission to this show. River Arts annual membership is $60 for individuals or $90 for a household. Current and new members are eligible for entry. All submitted works must be for sale and River Arts retains 35% commission on sold works. Entry forms are available in the gallery or online at riverartsme.org.
