The evening train at Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington (WW&F) Railway will feature fiddler Adam Boyce, who will appear as Charles Ross Taggart, the “Old Country Fiddler” from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Taggart performed throughout North America from 1895 through 1938. Discover the remarkable story of “The Man from Vermont” who helped Americans forget their troubles when they needed it most with his mimicry, stories and fiddling.

Boyce’s presentation will weave together performances of Taggart’s music, biographical information, and, most importantly, plenty of old-fashioned New England humor and wit.

Train departs Sheepscot Station at 6 p.m.
