A Motown Christmas will fill the house of The Chocolate Church Arts Center with the sounds of Christmas music, rhythm and blues style, on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Pat Colwell and his soul sensations present a 100 percent old school Christmas Motown R&B revue, complete with female backup singers, a full horn section, and a show that that will knock your socks off and onto the fireplace mantle.

This soulful Santa and his supportive elves will musically treat the audience to lessons in how to be naughty and nice. The repertoire includes Motown versions of Frosty the Snowman and other versions of classic Christmas carols by The Temptations, The Supremes, Prince, Otis Redding, Booker T. and the MG’s, and, of course, the amazing Jackson 5.
