Damariscotta Police Department: Officers respond to 149 calls
The Damariscotta Police report the following activity from April 4 to April 10.
April 4
Officer Halpin attempted to locate a subject on Pond Circle; investigated a report of suspicious activity on Church Street; warned Guy Thompson of Damariscotta for failing to yield on Back Meadow Road; investigated a report of a domestic disturbance on Standpipe Road; and investigated a police information report on Jackie’s Trail.
Sgt. Warlick took a police information report on Pond Circle and warned John Gilbert of Bremen for failing to stop at a red light on Egypt Road.
April 5
Officer Halpin arrested Jessica Deshiro of Damariscotta on two warrants; investigated a traffic hazard on Bristol Road; assisted a citizen on Keene Woods Road; and investigated a report of a traffic hazard on Egypt Road.
Sgt. Warlick took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1; investigated a report of suspicious activity on Biscay Road; and warned Brandon Jewett of Damariscotta for inspection and summonsed for registration and insurance on Biscay Road.
April 6
Officer Dotson investigated a tipline information report; is investigating a report of suspicious activity on Pinkham Road; and is investigating a late report property damage accident on School Street.
Sgt. Warlick investigated a property damage accident on School Street; summonsed Haley Poland of Bremen for speeding and arrested for failure to stop on Fogler Road; warned Joseph Hoyt of Edgecomb for a defect on Main Street; investigated a report of suspicious activity on Bristol Road; responded to a motor vehicle accident on Back Meadow Road; and arrested Scott Malone of Damariscotta for operating under the influence on Back Meadow Road.
April 7
Chief Young and Officer Dotson assisted with a fire on Lessner Road.
Rita McKinney of Greenville, South Carolina was summonsed for speeding on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester investigated a report of a traffic hazard on Route 1 and investigated a motor vehicle accident on Route 1 -- the damage was non-reportable.
April 8
Sgt. Warlick responded to a motor vehicle accident on Miles Street.
Officer Sylvester warned Hannah Hewes of Pemaquid for operation on Back Meadow Road; warned Wade Ingham of Monson for operating without headlights on Main Street; warned Scott Little of Bremen for obstructing a public way on Main Street; and investigated a report of suspicious activity on Twin Cove Lane
April 9
Officer Halpin responded to a report of a juvenile problem on Main Street and assisted with a suicidal subject on Biscay Road.
Jennifer Haskell of Thomaston was warned for a defect on Main Street by Officer Dotson.
April 10
Officer Dotson investigated an alarm on Jackie’s Trail.
Officer Halpin took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1; took a report of lost property on Elm Street; responded to a report of an unwanted subject on Church Street; and arrested Jeffory Fletcher of Bristol for criminal trespass on Church Street.
Codi Farrin of Damariscotta was summonsed for speeding on Church Street by Officer Sylvester.
