The Damariscotta police report the following activity from Dec. 14 to Dec. 20, 2015:

Dec. 14

Lindsay Brackett of Bristol was warned for speeding on Main Street by Sgt. Warlick.

Chief Young took reports of lost property on Main Street and Bristol Road and assisted a citizen at the police department.

Sgt. Warlick is investigating a report of missing jewelry from Lessner Road.

Officer Dotson investigated a report of a domestic issue on Biscay Road. Alexander Landau of Damariscotta was arrested for domestic violence assault, domestic violence terrorizing and burglary.

Dec. 15

Chief Young took a report of an erratic vehicle on Main Street, and assisted citizens at the police department.

Sgt. Warlick is investigated a report of criminal mischief on Main Street and took a police information report at the police department.

Officer Dotson assisted a citizen at the police department, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, and warned Gerald Kelley of Freeport for registration and summonsed for insurance on Bristol Road.

Dec. 16

Chief Young took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1. He also investigated a two vehicle accident on Main Street; Robert Hahn of Newcastle was driving a 2004 Toyota and Jessica Tukey of Waldoboro was driving a 2001 Honda Civic. No injuries were reported.

Chief Young took a request for a well-being check on Blue Haven Lane, took a report of an IRS phone scam at the police department, took civil complaints at the police department, took a theft of services complaint at the police department, took a report of a possible scam on Midcoast Road, and assisted with an unruly subject on Miles Street.

Sgt. Warlick assisted a citizen at the police department.

Dec. 17

Barry Prior of New Harbor was summonsed for expired license and speed on Bristol Road by Chief Young.

Stephanie Gallagher of Bristol was summonsed for speed on Bristol Road by Chief Young.

Officer Dotson took a report of lost property at the police department, and assisted citizens at the police department.

Officer Sylvester assisted a citizen at the police department, and took a police information report on Pond Circle.

Chief Young assisted a citizen at the police department.

Dec. 18

Officer Sylvester assisted with an unruly person on Miles Street.

Kensell Krah of Newcastle was warned for a stop sign violation on Bristol Road by Officer Seekins.

Sgt. Warlick and Officer Seekins investigated suspicious activity on Back Meadow Road, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, are investigating a trespassing complaint on Pond Circle, and assisted with two stray dogs on Pond Circle.

Ernest Card of Bremen was warned for speeding on Biscay Road by Sgt. Warlick.

Sgt. Warlick and Officer Seekins investigated criminal mischief on Main Street.

Sgt. Warlick assisted a citizen at the police department, took a police information report at the police department, conducted a compliance check in at the police department, and took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1.

Officer Sylvester took a police information report on Main Street, assisted a citizen on Main Street, and conducted a well-being check on Biscay Road.

Zachary Hagar of Bristol was warned for speeding on Main Street by Officer Sylvester.

Dec. 19

Salvatore Bartolotta of Bremen was warned for speeding on Route 1 by Officer Sylvester.

Heffrey Howard of Wiscasset was warned for speeding on Main Street by Officer Dotson.

John Clark of Newcastle was warned for speeding on Bristol Road by Officer Dotson.

Samantha Dobson of South Bristol was warned for a defect on Main Street by Officer Sylvester.

Honora Jordan of Alna was warned for a stop sign violation on Church Street by Officer Sylvester.

John Lonmaid of Stuart, Florida was warned for speeding on Main Street by Officer Sylvester.

Dec. 20

Officer Dotson assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Biscay Road.

Lindsay Brackett of Bristol was warned for a stop sign violation on Church Street by Officer Dotson.

Sally Brough of Nobleboro was warned for speeding on Church Street by Officer Dotson.

Officer Dotson took a report of found property on Elm Street.

Austin Moulton of Bristol was warned for speeding on Bristol Road by Officer Dotson.

Officer Sylvester investigated a report of threatening on Miles Street, took a police information report on Main Street, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, and conducted a pedestrian check on Bristol Road.

Damariscotta Police Department responded to 117 calls for service for the time period of Dec. 14 to Dec. 20, 2015 including: 1 animal complaint, 10 citizen assist, 9 assist other agency, 1 compliance check, 40 property checks, 2 civil complaints, 2 criminal mischief, 3 community policing, 1 disabled motor vehicle, 1 domestic disturbance, 2 erratic operations, 1 motor vehicle accident, 20 motor vehicle stops, 1 parking problem, 1 pedestrian check, 7 police information, 6 found/lost property, 1 suspicious activity, 2 theft/forgery/fraud, 1 threatening, 2 traffic control, 1 trespassing and 2 well-being checks. 20 citations or warnings were issued and 1 arrest was made.
