The DaPonte String Quartet will present Winter Series I: “Walking in Beethoven's Shadow:” Brahms, Schumann, and Mendelssohn, at the following locations through late October.

The Lincoln Theater, Friday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The theater is located at 2 Theater Street, Damariscotta; The Rines Auditorium, Portland Public Library, Saturday, Oct. 18, 7:30 p.m. The auditorium is located at 5 Monument Square, Portland; Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church, Sunday, Oct. 19, 3 p.m. The church is located at 84 Main Street, Topsham.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, 7:30 p.m. at St. Columba's Church, 32 Emery Way, Boothbay Harbor, and on Sunday, Oct. 26 3 p.m. at St. John's Church, 200 Main Street, Thomaston. Please note this new day and time for this venue.

Tickets are $20 for adults 21 and older, all others admitted free. Winter season tickets are available for $50, which includes three concert programs for 2014-2015.
