Di Ta Ondek and Margaret Higgins’ art at AMC
The walls are alive with vibrant, vivid color just in time for the holidays and the New Year with new art of returning artist, DiTa Ondek as well as a few painting of Brunswick resident Margaret Higgins. We are pleased to introduce fresh art here at AMC and invite the public to stop in during business hours to see their eye catching and delightful works through March.
Di Ta Ondek. Self described as a “creative initiator”, Di Ta has a varied professional expression as a Web developer, painter and poet. Artistically she utilizes various mediums (watercolor & acrylic paintings, Polaroid and digital photography). The current exhibit at AMC features a series of vintage and abandoned vehicles in acrylics, a Japanese Komono series as well a Cuban Car series of paintings. Are you a car enthusiast? Ondek is available to paint a favorite car on commission.
Margaret Higgins. A native of West Bath and a long-time resident of Brunswick, Margaret has pursued painting as a hobby in her adult life. In addition she enjoys quilting and caring for her 13 year old retired show draft horse, Prince.
AMC offers art space for artists creating with watercolor, print, acrylic, mixed media and/or print mediums. No commission or hanging fee is charged; the space is donated as a service and enrichment to the local art community and the community at large. Please stop in during business hours and browse their wonderful works in the waiting room and halls. The shop hours are Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
