Diabetes Support Group discusses physical activity
Join LincolnHealth Physical Therapist Kim Sirois for the March 25 meeting of the LincolnHealth Diabetes Support Group.
Sirois will discuss ways people who face obstacles to being physically active can still make exercise a healthy part of their life.
The Lincoln County Healthcare Diabetes Support Group meets from 1 to 2:15 p.m. every other month, usually on the fourth Wednesday of the month, to share experiences and send the message that no one should have to deal with diabetes alone. Meetings are held on the third floor of the Miles Campus of LincolnHealth.
The LincolnHealth Diabetes Education Program provides a range of services to diabetes patients and their families and has achieved American Association of Diabetes Educators recognition for the provision of quality services. Originally recognized in September of 2001, the program was recertified in February 2013.
