Celebrate local art at Rising Tide!  Join us Friday, May 6 from 4-6 p.m. for our monthly celebration of art, community and good wine. This month’s Art at the Co-op exhibit will feature work from local artist Ellen Hutcheson. 

Hutcheson is a watercolor artist from Boothbay. Although she works occasionally in the studio, Hutcheson is happiest painting plein air and so does most of her work outside. This artist describes herself as “emotional” painter whose bold work captures the spirit of the place or the feel of the day.

The opening reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and there will be a free wine tasting for those over 21.

The show will be on view in our café now through May 28 during normal store business hours, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

Want more local art? Rising Tide holds monthly art exhibits featuring work by talented local artists who are also co-op member-owners.
