Feed Our Scholars announces third annual Wiscasset Set For Success program
Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars is excited to announce its third annual Wiscasset Set For Success Program. Feed Our Scholars Set For Success is working diligently to provide the basic teacher-required school supply needs once again for all Wiscasset Elementary School and home-schooled students for the 2021-2022 school year. We are eager for the students to have a great in-school learning experience following such a challenging year.
Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars and its Set For Success programs remained undaunted as it successfully continued to provide bags of weekend food to subscribing families as well as the teacher required school supplies to all students despite the challenges faced by the global pandemic. Volunteers made masks for the students as a new addition to our supply list. We worked closely with the teachers for those items that would be needed for remote learning.
Open to everyone regardless of their financial situation, the emphasis on the Feed Our Scholars Set For Success program for Wiscasset is about celebrating and supporting our children and providing the basic supplies they need to be successful.
Donations to Feed Our Scholars Set For Success may be made through cash and/or in-kind donations. Checks can be made out to St. Philip’s Church with Set For Success in the memo line. Please send to St. Philip’s Church, 12 Hodge Street, Wiscasset, ME 04578. St. Philip’s is a 501(c)3 organization. Those preferring to make an in-kind donation may drop off purchased school supplies in a collection box located at St. Philip’s Church, or visit the Feed Our Scholars new Amazon Set For Success 2021 Wish List.
