First National Bank donates to Wiscasset food pantries

First National Bank recently announced donations totaling $14,500 to 20 food banks in its market area. “First National Bank is grateful for the critical services that our food banks provide to our neighbors in need,” said Tony C. McKim, President and CEO. “As a Maine community bank, it is our goal to respond to the needs of these vital organizations that serve and help these families put food on the table.”
In Wiscasset, Help Yourself Shelf and Wiscasset Food Pantry received funds. Help Yourself Shelf is at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church on Hodge Street. The pantry is open Thursdays at 5 p.m. For more information, call 207-882-7184.
The Wiscasset Food Pantry is at the Church of the Nazarene on Gardiner Road. and is open Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. For more information, call 207-882-9088.
