Lincoln County Republicans meeting June 3
The Lincoln County Republican Committee (LCRC) will hold their monthly meeting at their headquarters, 241 US Highway 1, Damariscotta, on June 3. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; the meeting will begin at 7.
In accordance with the Governor’s mandated restrictions, we ask that you bring a face covering or mask. We have plenty of room and anticipate enough space for people to keep as much distance between each other for all to feel comfortable. Please respect the needs of our older members and medically compromised members who may need more personal space than you do. We have the use of the entire first floor as well as the porches and grounds. Bring gloves if you feel so inclined.
We have found enough seating for all we anticipate coming. Chairs will be placed appropriately for social distancing. There will be no refreshments served, but bottled water will be available.
Because this is the first meeting in a while and election time is fast approaching, there is enough for us to discuss at the meeting without a speaker. The agenda will include the following: providing we have enough members present for a quorum, we will be voting on standards of conduct that were sent out with the May newsletter; discussion and perhaps vote for funding of our Lincoln County candidates for public office; discussion of our nominees for the Helen Weston Scholarship and we will hear from any of our candidates who wish to share their message with us. Lastly, we encourage all to become involved in the election process and volunteer toward the effort to get our candidates elected.
