Nashville comes to Bath on Oct. 24
The iconic Bluebird Café of Nashville, the venue where Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Keith Urban, Josh Turner Kathy Mattea, Taylor Swift and many more got their start, is coming to Maine and bringing four accomplished singer songwriters to perform a benefit concert for Healthy Kids this Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Chocolate Church in Bath.
The Bluebird Café has been stretching its wings across the United States and the United Kingdom over the past several years, but this is the first time ever in New England. The show promises to be an evening of telling stories and singing songs that made performers like Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, The Band Perry, Blake Shelton, Pink and Christina Aguilera just to name a few, famous.
Treat yourself, families and friends to New England’s own singer songwriter Lori McKenna, who just won Nashville’s Songwriters Association International award for song of the year, “Girl Crush”; Kara DioGurdi, who has written hits for Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion and Gwen Stefani; JT Harding, who has written hits for Keith Urban (“Somewhere With You”) and Blake Shelton (“Sangria”); and Jeff Cohen, who has songs recorded by Josh Groban and featured movies including “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” “My Super Ex Girlfriend” and “Stuart Little.”
Tickets are $35 general admission and $100 VIP with reserved seating and conversation with the performers. Buy your tickets online at www.healthykidsmaine.comand learn about the nonprofit Healthy Kids.
