Open auditions for production of ‘Hair’
Studio Theater of Bath (STB) announces auditions for its April production of “Hair.” The 1968 rock musical that ushered in the Age of Aquarius and “flower power.” STB is seeking approximately 24 participants, including one African-American male and one African-American female vocal lead.
All cast members will be required to sing and dance, but professional dance training is not necessary. Please come prepared to sing some material from the show or similar material demonstrating range and dynamic capabilities.
Auditions will be held over two consecutive weekends: Friday, Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. at the Winter Street Center located at 880 Washington Street in Bath (across from the Patten Free Library Park), and Friday, Jan. 3 and Saturday, Jan. 4 at the United Methodist Church in Brunswick, located at 320 Church Road.
