A pancake breakfast fundraiser for the March of Dimes is planned for Saturday, April 8 from 9 to 11 am. at the Damariscotta Baptist Church. The event is hosted by Team Garron, who raises money in memory of Garron Martin through the March of Dimes event, "March for Babies."

The pancake breakfast will feature pancakes and sides, coffee and beverages. The suggested donation is $5 per person or $20 per family. This is a family-friendly event and children are welcome. The Damariscotta Baptist Church is located at 4 Bristol Road in Damariscotta.

Area businesses have been asked to sponsor the team in exchange for their logos on the back of Team Garron T-shirts, to be worn at the March for Babies in Portland Bangor and Rockland. The shirts were designed, created and donated by Supplies Unlimited.

Team Garron 2017 T-shirt sponsors include: Long Winter Soap Company, Renys, The Animal House, NuDay Syria, Supplies Unlimited, King Eider's, Duck Puddle Campground, Seawicks Candle Company, Savory Maine, Strong-Hancock, Coastal Car Wash, Houseknecht Labs, The Green Ark, Cheney Insurance, Elsmere BBQ, Mia’s Shear Perfection, and a special friend who donated in memory of her daughter, Keelan Budds.

The next Team Garron event after the Pancake Breakfast will be an Open Mic night at Savory Maine on Wednesday, April 12 from 5 to 9 a.m.
