Seacoast Orchestra’s 25th Anniversary concert
Seacoast Orchestra presents a 25th Anniversary Concert of classical music this Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater, 2 Theater St. in Damariscotta.
This free concert will feature Brass and Woodwind musicians joining the Orchestra for “L'Arlesienne Suite” by Bizet. Works by Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Brahms will also be performed. The Mezza and Avanzata orchestras are directed by Ferdinand Liva of the DaPonte Quartet, and the Primo orchestra is led by Kaity Newell.
Everyone is invited to attend and celebrate this 25th Anniversary concert performed by our exceptionally talented friends and neighbors and join us for refreshments following the performance.
String players at all levels and ages are encouraged to join one or more sections of the Seacoast Community Orchestras. Rehearsals are on Tuesday afternoons at Great Salt Bay Community School.
