The Maine Republican Assembly (MERA) will be hosting a National Homemade Soup Day event with a Meet and Greet for House Representative Edward Polewarczyk. The event will be on Sunday, Feb. 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Alna Fire Station, Rte 218, across from the Town Hall.

Representative Polewarczyk, District 47, represents the towns of Alna, Jefferson, Whitefield and Wiscasset. He is running again this year and would like to see/meet as many of his constituents as can make this event, plus enjoy hot soup and desserts! Donations accepted,
