A quilt raffle to benefit the American Cancer Society will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ames True Value in Wiscasset.

Members of Beta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi made the queen-size quilt under the direction of Martha Speed.

Each year, the chapter raises between $700 and $900 for the American Cancer Society, in memory of Beta Sigma Phi member, Eileen Jones.
