Thomaston man at Two Bridges following Bath manslaughter indictment
State Police have arrested the boyfriend of a woman shot to death in a Bath shopping center parking lot November 16.
Dylan Grubbs, 23, of Thomaston was charged with manslaughter following his indictment by the Sagadahoc County Grand Jury on Thursday. Grubbs’ girlfriend, Chelsea Jones, 22, was shot in the head while she sat in their car in the parking lot.
The two had driven to the shopping center to meet a prospective buyer for her handgun. Grubbs was allegedly showing the gun outside the car when it fired. Grubbs also was indicted on a charge of possessing a firearm by a prohibited person.
Grubbs was arrested at his home on Booker Street in Thomaston at mid-afternoon and taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. He remained there in lieu of $5,000 bail.
