Vote for Pam Dunning
Dear Editor:
Pamela Dunning has called Wiscasset home for 50 years. When I asked where she lived, she said, “on Old Bath Road in a working class neighborhood.” She loves the small town feel of Wiscasset and would like to keep it that way. When we moved here 11 years ago, we chose to settle here because it is a small Midcoast town.
Pamela served on the budget committee before being elected to the Select Board giving her the experience to step in with no learning curve. Pamela recognizes we have a diverse community serving all income levels and age groups. We need her historic, institutional knowledge and common sense approach to take us into the future as we face major issues in our small town. We need sustainable economic development. We need a board member who understands the issues important to all taxpayers. We need a board member who prepares and does their research before every board meeting. We need a board member who will push to take care of our town’s current infrastructure before incurring any new costs. Pamela Dunning is the candidate for this important job. She’s done it before and will do it again. Please join me and vote to bring Pamela Dunning back to the Select board on June 13.
