This week at the Harbor Theater
“Cyrano” – (PG-13; 2 hours, 4 minutes) – A man ahead of his time, Cyrano de Bergerac (Peter Dinklage) dazzles whether with ferocious wordplay at a verbal joust or with brilliant swordplay in a duel. But, convinced that his appearance renders him unworthy of the love of a devoted friend, the luminous Roxanne (Haley Bennett), Cyrano has yet to declare his feelings for her -- meanwhile Roxanne has fallen in love, at first sight, with Christian (Kelvin Harrison, Jr). Shows: Wednesday, March 30, 2 and 7 p.m. and Thursday, March 31, 7 p.m.
“The Outfit” – (R - some bloody violence, crude language; 1 hour, 46 minutes) -Leonard (Mark Rylance) is a tailor caught up in the crosshairs of gangster rivalry and dangerous dealings. A true craftsman, Leonard has high regard for his art. After being forced to leave London's Savile Row because of a personal tragedy, he emigrates to the US and sets up shop in Chicago, where he keeps his head down and his mouth shut. That’s precisely why his shop soon becomes a hub of operations for the mob and the setting of all the action. Things get out of hand for Leonard with all the gorillas in his vicinity, back-stabbing and ratting each other out, nobody knowing whom they can trust or who to whack. The film is perfectly-tailored for the most sophisticated movie-goer in the crowd. Playing at 7 p .m. Friday, April 1; Saturday, April 2; Wednesday, April 6; Thursday, April 7; 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, April 3.
Coming soon: “Infinite Storm” – (R; 1 hour, 44 minutes) - April 8; “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” - April 15
